What kind of trade show it is<\/h2>\n

This is a show where overseas and Indian manufacturers put the equipment that goes into India's food plants side by side. The range runs from small lines to large filling machines, so you can check the specifications and price bands that Indian plants actually consider.<\/p>\n

Koelnmesse runs the Anuga FoodTec food technology show in Cologne, and this is positioned as its Indian edition. 2026 is the 20th edition, and the organizer announced that the previous edition drew 639 exhibitors from 31 countries and 21,875 visitors from 45 countries. The venue is split with Halls 2 and 3 for processing and Halls 4 and 5 for packaging, and admission is limited to trade visitors.<\/p>\n\n

The BEC venue is in Goregaon in northern Mumbai. Getting there from the city center takes time, traffic included.<\/p>\n

The degree of automation varies widely from plant to plant, and assuming a standard Japanese line will throw off your estimate. Rather than comparing equipment alone, judging after you have seen actual plants and logistics warehouses improves the accuracy of the investment figure.<\/p>\n\n
