What kind of conference it is<\/h2>\n

The program was built around the conference itself, combined with an exhibition (Trade Fair), B2B meetings, workshops, and technical visits. People from government, research, and industry involved in seafood inspection and quality control gather, and the regulations and inspection practices of each country are discussed. It has moved among seafood-producing countries in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.<\/p>\n

India is a major producer and exporter of seafood, and for Japan it is a sourcing country centered on shrimp. For the 2026 edition, Indian government fisheries bodies joined as co-host and supporters.<\/p>\n\n

What it means for Japanese companies<\/h2>\n

For companies on the buying side, it is a chance to learn how India's seafood inspection system and export controls work in practice.
