Feed accounts for half of revenue<\/h2>\n

About half of revenue is animal feed, covering cattle, egg-laying hens, broilers, shrimp, and fish. India's livestock and aquaculture sectors have many small-scale producers, and a feed maker sits in a position directly connected to them.<\/p>\n

This position pays off when combined with downstream business. The company buys chickens from farmers it sold feed to and processes them in-house into finished products, running everything from raw material to finished product within the same group.<\/p>\n
