Losses are spreading faster than revenue is growing<\/h2>\n

Revenue for the fiscal year ended March 2025 was \u20b997.4 crore, up 33.1% year on year. The net loss, meanwhile, widened about 30% to \u20b932.7 crore from \u20b925.26 crore the year before. That works out to a loss of 0.34 for every 1 of revenue. The company remains in a phase of spending on promotion to win shelf space.<\/p>\n

Children's food in India is split between the general shelf, where legacy brands are strong, and the D2C shelf, where higher prices are tolerated. The structure in which growing on the latter raises advertising and delivery costs is no different from D2C food in Japan.<\/p>\n

Millets placed as the staple, not as a supplement<\/h2>\n

Built on ragi (finger millet) and jowar (sorghum), the lineup covers cereal, cookies, noodles and pasta. Rather than mixing millets into wheat or rice, the products put the millets themselves in the base position.<\/p>\n

After the International Year of Millets in 2023 raised awareness of millets, the company launched Mill\u00e9 for adults on top of its children's range, widening the age groups it serves. The actress Anushka Sharma is among its investors. A further Series C in February 2026 brought cumulative funding to about 23.2 million dollars.<\/p>\n

Baby food and toddler food in Japan assume rice and wheat, with millets usually mixed in as a supplement. Slurrp Farm does the opposite, putting millets in the lead role and then shaping them into forms children eat, such as cookies, noodles and pancake mix.
