Tan Hiep Phat (THP) Beverage Group, founded in 1994, is Vietnam's largest private beverage maker. It has three national brands, Dr. Thanh Herbal Tea, Number 1 Energy Drink, and Zero Degrees Green Tea, and produces more than 1 billion liters a year. It supplies products throughout Vietnam (34 provinces and centrally governed cities after the reorganization in July 2025) and to 16 countries. In 2025 it announced a USD 153 million investment plan to expand its plant in the south. Founder Tran Qui Thanh is known as an entrepreneur who built Vietnam's beverage industry, but in April 2024 the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court sentenced him to eight years in prison for abuse of trust to appropriate property (damages of about USD 41.2 million).
