Kamereo is Vietnam's first tech-driven B2B food ingredient procurement platform, founded in 2018 by the Japanese entrepreneur Taku Tanaka. It cuts the effort that chefs at restaurants and caf\u00e9s spend on sourcing ingredients and optimizes quality and price. After graduating from Keio University, Tanaka worked at Credit Suisse Securities and then served as COO of Pizza 4P\u2019s before founding Kamereo. In December 2024 it raised a 7.8 million dollar Series B led by Sumitomo Corporation, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, Reazon and Inspire, bringing cumulative funding to more than 15 million dollars. It expanded into the Hanoi market at the end of 2024 and plans to move into Phan Thiet and Vung Tau in 2025.<\/p>\n
