This privacy policy sets out how we handle the information we collect from customers.

Purposes for which customers' personal information is used

We use the personal information obtained from customers (meaning "personal information" as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003; hereinafter the "Personal Information Protection Act"); the same applies below) for the following purposes.

• To provide and operate our services
• To respond to inquiries from users (including verifying the identity of the person concerned)
• To send emails informing users of new features of the service they are using, updates, campaigns and the like, as well as of other services we provide
• To contact users as necessary, for example about maintenance and important notices
• To identify users who violate the terms of use or who attempt to use the service for improper or unjust purposes, and to refuse them use
• To allow users to view, change, or delete their own registered information and to view their usage status
• To bill users for usage fees in the case of paid services
• Purposes incidental to the purposes of use above

Measures taken for security control

Regarding the measures we have taken for the security control of customers' personal information, we will respond individually in accordance with laws and regulations once you contact us at the address given at the end of this document.

Provision to third parties

Of the information we obtain from customers, we do not provide anything that constitutes personal data (Article 2, Paragraph 6 of the Personal Information Protection Act) to third parties (including parties located outside Japan) without obtaining the customer's prior consent. The following cases are excepted.

• Where the handling of personal data is outsourced
• Where we or our services are acquired
• Where the data is used jointly with a business partner (if there is a specific joint use, we will publish its details separately)
• Other cases where provision to a third party is lawfully permitted under the law

Changes to this privacy policy

We will change the contents of this privacy policy as necessary. In that case, we will announce or give notice of the effective date and the contents of the revised privacy policy by an appropriate method.

In that case, we will always confirm that the request comes from the person concerned, by a method we specify such as presentation of a driver's license. For requests for disclosure of information, an administrative fee of 1,000 yen per request is charged at the time of application, whether or not disclosure is made.
