Annapoorna Inter Food is a food and beverage trade show held by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and VA Exhibitions. The names are similar and easily confused, but "Annapoorna – World of Food India," which Koelnmesse used to run, is now Anuga Select India, a separate event from this one. This show is operated by FICCI and VA Exhibitions with support from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and APEDA.
The organizer states that it invites more than 250 hosted buyers from overseas, and the format connects Indian importers and distributors with exhibitors from abroad. The organizer announced that 203 companies exhibited in 2025 and that attendance was 10,112.
It suits the stage where you are looking for buyers in Mumbai retail and HoReCa. KISAN Agri Show takes place in Pune during the same week, so if you also want to look at sourcing in the growing regions, you can build a schedule that includes the travel.
Because the venue has a HoReCa section and an alcoholic beverage pavilion, companies handling foodservice ingredients or alcoholic drinks can meet both sets of counterparts on a single trip.
There are deadlines for hosted buyer places and for exhibitor applications. December runs into the year-end, so arrange travel and customs clearance early.
The BEC venue is in Goregaon in northern Mumbai. If you also plan to see stores in the city during the same week, set aside separate time for the travel.
