Ninjacart is a B2B platform that delivers produce bought from farmers to retailers and restaurants the same day. By shortening the conventional distribution chain that passes through several layers of middlemen, it aims to reduce both loss of freshness and price markups.

Produce collected in the morning is sorted during the night and delivered to retailers by the following morning. Produce distribution in India normally goes through collection markets, and it is not unusual for several days to pass between the farmer and the store shelf. Shortening that is where Ninjacart started.
Fulfillment for retailers, traders, and quick commerce operators is the core of the business.
Operating revenue for FY2025 (fiscal year ending March 2025) was ₹1,634 crore, down from ₹2,007 crore the previous year. The company explains this as the result of exiting low-margin non-core businesses. The net loss was ₹256 crore, roughly flat against ₹260 crore the previous year. The core fulfillment business grew by more than 100% year on year and is profitable on a standalone basis, and the company says it aims to be profitable company-wide in FY2027.
If you want a stable supply of agricultural produce in India, using a B2B platform like this as your point of contact makes it easier to limit variation in volume and quality than buying directly from the growing region. It is a candidate partner when you want to secure a steady volume for processing use.
