Golden Gate Group (GGG) is Vietnam's largest restaurant group. With more than 40 brands including Kichi Kichi (conveyor hotpot), Gogi House (Korean BBQ), Manwah (Taiwanese hotpot) and Ashima (mushroom hotpot), it runs more than 500 restaurants across the country and serves 18 million customers a year. For 2025 it plans to double profit year on year to 205 billion VND (about 8 million dollars). In January 2025 it acquired The Coffee House (93 outlets) for about 10.5 million dollars and entered the café business. The know-how in opening outlets at scale that it built in hotpot and BBQ formats is a useful reference as a model for Japanese restaurant chains expanding into Vietnam.
