Sabeco (Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation) is Vietnam's oldest beer company, dating back to 1875, and it remains the country's largest brewer. Its core brands include 333, Saigon Special, and Saigon Export, and in December 2017 ThaiBev of Thailand acquired a 53.59% stake for about USD 4.8 billion.

Full-year 2025 net revenue was about VND 25.89 trillion (about USD 1 billion), but that was down about 19% year on year and the lowest level since 2015. The decline has been attributed to weak consumption ahead of the Lunar New Year, logistics disruption caused by typhoons, and the shift in the timing of Tet. Net profit, by contrast, was VND 4.57 trillion, up about 2% year on year, showing the results of cost management.

With ThaiBev holding 53.6%, Sabeco is pursuing a premiumization strategy and brand renewal. Beer consumption in Vietnam is among the highest in Asia, and Sabeco, together with Heineken Vietnam, Habeco, and Carlsberg Vietnam, accounts for more than 90% of the domestic market. For Japanese beverage makers, differentiation in craft beer and the premium segment will be the key to entry.
