This is an equipment show aimed at food manufacturers in South India. The visitors are mainly engineers and owners from local plants, and the exhibits lean toward machinery that can be supplied within South India.
Because a dairy equipment show and a packaging show run at the same time, you can look at everything from raw material handling through to final packaging.
If you are considering contract manufacturing or a joint venture in South India, you can see what level of equipment the plants in this region use. Processors handling dairy products, coffee, and spices are clustered in and around Bengaluru.
For equipment makers, it serves as a place to look for a distributor in South India. A distributor's territory is sometimes divided by state or region, so check whether your existing distributor can cover the south.
The venue is given inconsistently on the official website. BIEC is northwest of central Bengaluru and some way out, while Tripura Vasini is at Palace Ground inside the city, and the travel arrangements change accordingly. Confirm before you apply.
